Maddie Patno started as director of business operations in July of 2021. Â
In her role, Patno is responsible for receiving and recording all expense-related items, including accounts payable, reimbursements, credit card transactions, non-gift deposits, and journal vouchers. She also assists in financial day-to-day management by performing advanced financial functions to include new hire orientation and assist with monthly reporting and reconciliation, as well as year-end closing and audit support.Â
Prior to her current position with the Friars, Patno served as a graduate assistant in the PC athletics business office (2019-21). She also served as a student worker in the business office during her junior and senior year at PC. Â
Patno graduated from Providence College in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in finance. Patno was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team while at PC where she was a 1000-point scorer and a three-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. In 2021, she earned a Master's Degree in business administration from PC. Â
Patno Was a two-time honoree at the 2019 Providence College Athletic Awards Gala as the recipient of the Sine Qua Non Award and became the first female student-athlete to claim the Rev. Robert A. Morris, O.P. ‘46 Memorial Award. She is currently on the Friar Women Leaders Committee for Athletics. Â
Patno is originally from Rehoboth, Mass. While at PC, she met her husband, Drew Patno.
