TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- It was announced on Saturday, November 20 that senior cross country All-American Fiona Crombie (Christchurch, New Zealand) was named NCAA Northeast Region Cross Country Runner of the Year.

Crombie captured the NCAA Northeast Regional title on November 12 at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. Crombie's first-place finish marked the third consecutive season that a Friar runner won the NCAA Northeast Regional. Crombie also won the BIG EAST Championships on October 28.

Crombie and the 17th-ranked Friars will compete at the NCAA Championship on Monday, November 21 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
