FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. -- The 11th-ranked Providence College women's cross country team (222 points) finished seventh out of 31 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, September 24 in Falcon Heights, Minn. Arizona State won the team title with 88 points as ASU's Amy Hastings captured the individual title.

Senior All-American Fiona Crombie (Christchurch, New Zealand) led the Friars as she finished eighth in a time of 21:16. Junior Meghan Owen (Danielson, Conn.) placed 24th in a time of 21:52, while graduate student Aine Hoban (Wakefield, England) finished 26th in a time of 21:54. Senior Ashley Jensen of Lincoln, R.I. (81st - 22:49) and freshman Katie DiCamillo of Garden City, N.Y. (83rd - 22:50) also scored for the Friars.

Providence returns to action on Saturday, October 15 at the Penn State Invitational at University Park, Pa.
