DURHAM, N.H. - The Providence College women's cross country team defeated New Hampshire, 38-21, on September 2 at the New Hampshire Dual Meet in Durham, N.H. Catherine Parker, of UNH, won the race in a time of 17:35. Sophomore Katie DiCamillo (Garden City, N.Y.) paced the Friars with a second-place finish in a time of 17:44. A trio of Friars crossed the finish line behind her and included graduate student Aine Hoban (Wakefield, England) in third place (17:47), sophomore Danette Doetzel (Macklin, Saskatchewan) in fourth place (18:09) and junior Mary Nelle Trefz (Iowa City, Iowa) in fifth place (18:11). Also finishing among the top-10 overall were freshman Krystal Douglas (Harpswell, Maine) in seventh place with a time of 18:52 and sophomore Kate Campbell (Auckland, New Zealand) in eighth place (18:52).
