CAMERON PARK, CALIF. – On Thursday, Dec. 13 Marina Rose was named the national MaxPreps Small Schools High School Player of the Year.
Rose led Coventry to the Class S state championship and an undefeated record. Rose only lost one match in her four years at Coventry High School. Rose led all high school volleyball players with a .789 kill percentage, while adding 409 kills.
Last week Rose was named the 2012-13 Gatorade Connecticut Volleyball Player of the Year by The Gatorade Company, in conjunction with USA Today High School Sports.
Rose, a four year honor roll student, plans to study biology at Providence College.
