Providence Opens Independent Volleyball Tournament Pool Play Against South Dakota State
Nov. 7, 2006 Providence, R.I. - The Providence College volleyball team will play two matches on Friday, November 10 in Fargo, N.D. on the first day of tournament action at the National Division I Independent Volleyball Tournament. The Friars ended the regular season on Wednesday, November 1 with a 3-0 loss at the hands of Central Connecticut State. PC finished with an overall record of 14-15 which is the highest win total since 2000 when the Friars tallied 16 victories. Tournament play will wrap-up on Saturday, November 11 with the fifth, third and championship matches at 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., respectively. TIME TEAM NO. SCHOOL/TEAM
