Newark, N.J. - Seniors Jeanette Toney and Elizabeth Flynn were selected to the NJIT Halloween Classic All-Tournament Team on Saturday, November 1. The two middle blockers led the Friars to a 1-2 record in the tournament on October 31 and November 1.

Flynn (Bellerose, N.Y.) paced the Friars with 39 kills over the team's three matches. She averaged 3.90 kills per game and hit at a solid .383 clip. Against Howard, Flynn registered 17 kills and added three total blocks in the 3-1 setback against the Bison.

Toney (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted 23 kills and led the team with 13 total blocks during the tournament. In the opening match against NJIT, Toney recorded 12 kills, nine digs and three total blocks.

The Friars next play at home against Quinnipiac on Saturday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. in Mullaney Gymnasium. Prior to the match, the team's five seniors will be honored for their contributions to the program.
