The Providence College volleyball team will face Chicago State in Mullaney Gymnasium on Saturday, October 25 at 4:00 p.m. The Friars come into the match with a record of 12-12, while the Cougars are 0-24. PC fans can watch the match live through the subscription service on Friars.com.

Last time out, the Friars fell to Bryant, 3-2, on Tuesday, October 21. Senior Jeanette Toney (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had another strong outing, posting a double-double with 14 kills and 13 digs. The 5-10 middle blocker also registered eight total blocks. Senior Elizabeth Flynn (Bellerose, N.Y.) continues to hit at an incredible pace for the Friars. Flynn posted 15 kills against Bryant and recorded a .600 hitting percentage. Defensively, senior Kelly Krahenbuhl (Larkspur, Colo.) paced Providence with 23 digs.

For the Cougars, junior Shamara Clark (Bloomington, Ind.) is leading the team with 127 kills and ranks second on the squad with 138 digs. Defensively, junior Chy Crichton (The Dalles, Ore.) had recorded 167 digs for Chicago State.

After Saturday’s contest, PC plays another home match against Hartford on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m.
