Providence College head women's volleyball coach Margot Royer-Johnson, recently returned from a trip to Curacao (Netherlands Antilles), where she coached a group of student-athletes for USA Athletes International.

The trip took place June 6-13, and the team played five matches versus club teams from Curacao. Royer guided the team to a 5-0 record in those match-ups.

Providence volleyball players Cassie Muzzonigro (Gibsonia, Pa.) and Carly Morrison (Larkspur, Calif) joined Royer-Johnson on the trip as members of the team, in addition to seven other collegiate players from the US.

The group also was fortunate enough to tour the country during the trip. The team took a safari Jeep tour, visited an ostrich farm, toured downtown Willemstad and visited a "Seaquarium." They also took a catamaran tour and snorkeled.
