The Providence College volleyball team signed Emily Morris for the 2007 season on Tuesday, April 24. She joins a young squad next season that has already added five newcomers Sondra Snyder, Meredith Gent, Torey Broback, Kourtney Halliday and Kristen Halliday.

Emily Morris is a 5'9" utility player from Hermosa Beach, CA. She played for Cari Klein at Marymount HS (Los Angeles, CA) and for Mick Haley (Head Volleyball Coach at USC) with Southern California Volleyball Club. She has experience as a right side hitter, a defensive specialist, and a setter.

"Emily has good fundamentals having played volleyball for most of her life. She will help us out defensively and as a back up setter. Emily has played in a very competitive environment, and that experience will enhance our teams will to win," said Head Coach Margot Royer.
