STORRS, CONN. -- The Providence College women's volleyball team was defeated, 3-0, at the University of Connecticut in a BIG EAST volleyball match on Saturday, November 10.

Senior outside hitter Sarah Katinger (Stratford, Conn.) led the Friars with 13 kills and 15 digs in the loss. Freshman middle blocker Ayana Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) added 12 kills and three blocks.

The Friars completed the 2001 season with an overall record of 6-20 and a BIG EAST Conference mark of 0-12.
