Dover, Del. - Providence College volleyball won its fifth straight game on Friday, October 20 with a 3-1 win over Delaware State in game one of the Delaware State Invitational. The Friars improve to 12-13 on the season and will play two matches on Saturday, October 21.

With their fifth win in a row, the Friars have matched their longest win streak since 2000. PC was led by sophomore Jeanette Toney (Brooklyn, N.Y.) with 18 kills and five blocks. Aida Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs. Sophomore Elizabeth Flynn (Bellerose, N.Y.) and junior Sarah Fleming (Saint Paul, Minn.) each contributed nine kills.

Providence will play Winston-Salem State and NJIT on Saturday, October 21.
