Final Stats

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College volleyball team was defeated by Georgetown, 3-0, on Friday, October 12 in Washington, D.C. The Hoyas (9-6, 6-1) won the match in three-straight games over the Friars (4-14, 0-7).

Providence College senior outside hitter Sarah Katinger (Stratford, Conn.) led the Friars with 12 kills in the match. Her classmate, fellow senior outside hitter Annie Cella (Burr Ridge, Ill.) added nine kills and seven digs. Katinger added nine digs in the loss.

The Friars return to action on Sunday, October 14 at Virginia Tech at 2:00 p.m.
