PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College volleyball team was defeated by Brown, 3-0 on Tuesday, October 3 behind 14 kills from Rikki Baldwin. The Friars' record dips to 7-12 while Brown improves their record to 4-10.

Sophomore Jeanette Toney (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led all Friars with 10 kills. Sophomore setter Sara Sheehan (West Chester, Pa.) had 19 assists in the loss. Junior Sarah Fleming (Saint Paul, Minn.) added a solid effort with five kills and two blocks.

Providence will host Rhode Island on Wednesday, October 4 with a scheduled start time of 6:00 p.m.
