Volleyball defeated by La Salle, 3-2 and Kennesaw State, 3-0

LOYOLA, Md. - The Providence College volleyball team dropped a tough five-game match to La Salle by the scores 30-27, 18-30, 30-27, 18-30, 20-22. PC also was defeated by Kennesaw State 3-0 by the scores 30-26, 30-25, 30-22. Sophomore Jeanette Toney (Brooklyn, N.Y.) tallied 23 kills over the two matches played on Saturday, September 9. Junior teammate, Sarah Fleming (Saint Paul, Minn.) added 20 kills. Providence College will play their season opener on Wednesday, September 13 playing host to Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m.
