John Maleri enters his first season with the Providence College volleyball team as team manager. A senior biology major from Trumbull, Conn., Maleri brings a wealth of volleyball experience to the Friars. He was a four-year letter winner on the Trumbull High School volleyball team and earned a number of awards during his career. Maleri was a Connecticut All-State selection as a senior and earned Connecticut Post All-Star honors in 2005 and 2006. He garnered All-FCIAC (Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Championship) accolades as a junior and senior. Maleri led his team to the Connecticut Class L Championship game as a junior and senior and the FCIAC Championship game as a senior. He is currently a member of the men's volleyball club team at Providence College. |
