Women's Volleyball Falls To Albany In Straight Sets

Friars remain on the road to face Binghamton on October 9 at 1:00 p.m.

At Providence - As a Junior: Finished second on the team with 224 kills on the season, good for 1.93 per set...Averaged 2.32 points per set, good for 18th in the America East...Was second on the team in blocks, with 73 on the season (0.63 per set)...Played in all 33 matches...Matched her career-high with 11 kills on three occasions, on Sept. 1 versus Holy Cross, Sept. 22 against Quinnipiac and Oct. 13 versus Central Connecticut State...Notched 10 kills against Hartford on Oct. 3, Rhode Island on Oct. 5 and UMBC on Oct. 17...Named to America East Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll. As a Sophomore: Appeared in 85 games and started 21 matches...Ranked third on the team with 124 kills and third with 39 blocks...Posted nine kills and four blocks against Bucknell on Sept. 6...Tallied a season-high 11 kills on Sept. 12 against Lafayette...Recorded seven kills and four blocks on Oct. 21 at Hartford.
