Tom Chu enters his third season with the Providence College volleyball team as the manager. A senior, marketing major from Westport, Conn., Chu brings a lot of experience to the table in dealing with the team. Chu had a very successful high school career at Staples HS in Fairfield, Conn., where he was a three-year starter on the varsity volleyball team. He led his high school team to three consecutive FCIAC(Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Championship) championships from 2003-2005. Chu also was a member of the three-time (2002-2004) CIAC (Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Championship) Class M State championship teams. Tom was named to the First Team All-FCIAC in 2004 and 2005. He also was named FCIAC Tournament MVP and First Team All-State in 2005. Tom finished his high school career with a Conn. Juniors 18-team 2005 New England Regional championship. Chu is currently a member of the men's volleyball club team at Providence College. |
