PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Former Friar Marie McMahon Davenport placed 14th (31:50.49) of 27 runners in the 10,000 meter finals at the Olympics in Athens, Greece. The race was won by Xing Huina of China in a time of 30:24.36.

For McMahon Davenport, it marked her first Olympic performance since she competed in the 1996 Olympics.
