Providence's Shelby Greany Qualifies For 3,000 Meter Steeplechase Final At IAAF World Junior Track And Field Championships

MONCTON, Canada - Providence College student-athlete Shelby Greany (Suffern, N.Y.) competed for the United States in the 3,000 meter steeplechase today (July 20) at the IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships in Moncton, Canada. Greany placed fifth in her heat in a time of 10:18.74, qualifying her for the 12 person final, which will be held on Thursday night (July 22nd) at 6:30 PM.
