Former PC Track All-American Amy Rudolph Wins 10,000 Meters At USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships
June 27, 2006 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Former Providence College track All-American Amy Rudolph `95 captured the 10,000 meters at the USA Track and Field Championships on Friday, June 23. Rudolph ran a time of 32:25.56 to win the event. Rudolph is one of the top runners ever to compete at Providence College. A 10-time All-American, Rudolph won two NCAA titles in 1994 (indoor mile, outdoor 1,500 meters). She captured five BIG EAST titles (cross country, 3,000 meters, mile and 10,000 meters) in her four years as a Friar. Rudolph has competed in multiple Olympic Games. In 1996, she established the American record in the 5,000 meters (14:56).
