Nagel now owns ECAC qualifying times for the 3K, 5K, and 10K

WALNUT, Calif. - The Providence College women's outdoor track and field team had two runners compete in the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif. today, Thursday, April 18.
Senior Shelby Greany (Suffern, N.Y.) competed in the 3000 meter steeplechase, where she placed seventh in the Invit Elite division with a time of 10:39.00. It was the second time during the outdoor season that Greany posted an ECAC and BIG EAST qualifying time for the 3000 meter steeplechase.
Junior Laura Nagel (Napier, New Zealand) competed in the 10,000 meter run, where she placed second with a ECAC Championship qualifying time of 33:46.69 in the Invit Elite division. Nagel has now qualified for both the BIG EAST Championships and ECAC in the 10,000 meter run.
Providence will continue competing in the Mt. Sac Relays tomorrow, Friday, April 19 with five women and two men running in the 5,000 meter run.
