The Providence College women's indoor track team had two members compete in 5,000 meter run at the NCAA Championships on Friday, March 9 at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The men's indoor track team competed in the Distance Medley Relay. On Saturday, March 10 the men's indoor track team had two members compete in the 3,000 meter race.

Graduate student Aine Hoban (Wakefield, England) placed fifth in the 5,000 meter run in the NCAA Championships at 15:53.42. Sophomore Katie DiCamillo (Garden City South, N.Y.) placed 13th in the 5,000 meters finishing in a time of 16:23.28.

The men's distance medley relay team comprised of senior Nick Weidman (Sudbury, Mass.), junior Max Smith (Dunedin, New Zealand), sophomore Charles Dewey (Worcester, Mass.) and freshman Hayden McLaren (Christchurch, New Zealand) did not finish the race.

Senior Martin Fagan (Mullingar, Ireland) finished the 3,000 meter race in a time of 7:57.88 which placed him sixth out of 11 competitors. Junior Max Smith (Dunedin, New Zealand) was scheduled to compete in the race but could not. Full results can be seen at www.flashresults.com
