Men's and Women's Indoor Track Compete at Terrier Invitational

Boston, Mass. - The men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Boston, Mass. to compete in the Terrier Invitational this weekend. The men were led by freshman Julian Matthews (Nelson, New Zealand) as he finished second overall in the 1000m with a time of 2:26.35. Graduate student Alan Pandiani (Shrewsbury, Mass.) finished the 500m in 1:05.13 to place fourth.

On the women's side, freshman Shelby Greany (Suffern, N.Y.) placed ninth in the 3000m in a time of 9:33.00. Sophomore Mary Kate Champagne (Platsburg, N.Y.) finished 12th in 9:36.58 while freshman Sam Roecker (Charlton, N.Y.) placed 19th in a time of 9:54.62. Sophomore Meg Van Name (Stamford, Conn.) placed 10th in the 500m with a time of 1:19.03.

Both teams will travel to New Haven, Conn. to compete at the Giegengack Invitational on Friday, February 5.
