The Providence women's indoor track team competed at the Harvard Invitational in Boston, Mass. on December 11. Senior Roisin Quinn (Waterford, Ireland) won the 800-meter run in a time of 2:13.77. She qualified for the BIG EAST and ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championship with the effort. Also earning top-10 finishes on the day were sophomore Laura McCarthy (Edina, Minn.) in the mile run and freshman Michelle Childs (Cameron, Ontario) and sophomore Bernadette Boyle (Fairfield, Conn.) in the 3,000-meter run. McCarthy finished the mile in seventh place (5:24.57). Childs took third place (10:20.83) in the 3,000 meters, while Boyle placed eighth (11:23.79).
