    EUGENE, Ore. - Providence College graduate student Katie DiCamillo (Garden City, N.Y.) competed in the NCAA Track and Field Championship on Wednesday, June 9 in Eugene, Ore. DiCamillo ran the 10,000 meters and finished 18th in a season-best time of 33:53.61.

    DiCamillo, who was competing in her final race at Providence College, had qualified for the NCAA's when she ran a time of 33:57.10 on April 16 at the Mount Sac Relays.

    Freshman Shelby Greany (Suffern, N.Y.) will compete on Thursday, June 10 at 9:15 EST in the semifinals of the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase. On the men's side, sophomore Julian Matthews (Nelson, New Zealand) will compete in the 1,500 meters preliminaries on Thursday at 7:45 p.m. EST. There will be three heats, where the top-three from each heat automatically qualify and the next three fastest times qualify for the final on Saturday, June 12.
