PENN RELAYS, Philadelphia, Pa. - April 27, 2002

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Providence College men's and women's track teams completed competition at the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday, April 27.

The Providence 4 x 800 meter women's relay team of junior Emer O'Shea (Limerick, Ireland), senior Kate Gall (Cumberland, Md.) freshman Roisin Quinn (Waterford, Ireland) and freshman Mary Cullen (Sligo, Ireland) finished 20th in the college women's division in a time of 9:13.28 and qualified for the ECAC Championship.

The Friar men's team competed in the 4 x mile relay in the college men's division and placed 10th. The PC team of freshman Liam Reale (Hospital, Ireland), freshman Dylan Wykes (Kingston, Ontario), junior Adam Sutton (Preston, England) and senior Paul Reilly (Loughrea, Ireland) ran the relay in a time of 16:46.19.
