WOMEN'S TRACK at Mt. Sac Relays., Walnut, Calif. - April 20-22, 2001

WALNUT, Calif. -- The Providence College women's track team competed at the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif. on April 20-22.

Sophomore Claire Shearman (Portsmouth, N.H.) placed 30th in the 5,000 meters in a time of 16:36.79. With her time of 16:36.79, Shearman qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track Championship.

Sophomore Brooke Freeburg (Waterford, Pa.) placed sixth in the javelin with a throw of 43.52 meters.
