Women's Track Competes at ECAC Indoor Championship

ECAC Indoor Championship at Boston, Mass. - March 4-5, 2000

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College women's track team competed at the ECAC Indoor Track Championship in Boston, Mass. on March 3-4.

The Friars were led by sophomore Claire Shearman (Portsmouth, N.Y.) who finished sixth in the 3,000 meters in a time of 9:44.51.

PC's Distance Medley Relay Team of freshman Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland), junior Joan Bohlke (Old Saybrook, Conn.), Emer O'Shea (Limerick, Ireland) and Kathryn Casserly (Galway, Ireland) finished fifth in a time of 11:43.67.
