BIG EAST Indoor Championship at Syracuse Univ., Syracuse, N.Y. - Feb. 19-20, 2000

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Providence College women's track team scored 14 points and finished 13th of 13 teams at the BIG EAST Indoor Track Championship in Syracuse, N.Y. on Sunday, February 20.

The Friars were led by freshman Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland) who placed fifth in the 1,000 meters in a time of 2:51.95.

PC's Distance Medley Relay Team of sophomore Heather Cappello (Lockport, N.Y.), junior Joan Bohlke (Old Saybrook, Conn.), junior Kathy Sutkowski (Edison, N.J.) and senior Dana Ostrander (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) finished fifth in a time of 11:55.26.
