The Providence College men's and women's indoor track teams competed at the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10. Sophomore Nick Berlutti (Westwood, Mass.) led the men's team with a third place finish in the 800 meters. Senior Meghan Owen (Danielson, Conn.) led the women's squad with a fifth place finish in the mile in a time of 4:49.33.

Sophomore Charlie Dewey (Worcester, Mass.) had a solid showing in the 400 meter placing 18th in a time of 48.84. Junior Greg Giardino (Colts Neck, N.J.) finished in 18th in the high jump at 1.83m. Sophomore Katie Elliot (Penfield, N.Y.) had a solid time of 2:17.93 placing her 22nd in the 800 meter run.

Both the men's and women's teams will be in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18 for the BIG EAST Championships.
