BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College women's indoor track team competed at the St. Valentine Invitational on February 11-12 at Boston University.

Freshman Michelle Childs qualified for the BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships by running the 3,000 meters in a personal best time of 10:02.82 to finish ninth.

In the mile, junior Fiona Crombie (Christchurch, New Zealand) ran a time of 4:51.92 to qualify for the BIG EAST Championships. Senior Roisin Quinn (Waterford, Ireland) ran her best time in the 800 meters this season as she recorded a time of 2:12.28.

The Friars will compete on February 19-20 at the BIG EAST Championships.
