KINGSTON, R.I. - Providence College track stand-out Mary Cullen ran the world's fastest indoor time in the 3,000 meters at the Sorlein Memorial Invitational in Kingston, R.I. on Friday, January 20. Cullen won the event with a time of 9:02.13. Michelle Childs placed second in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:08.73. Ashley Jensen finished fourth (10:31.22).

Also on the women's side, Aine Hoban placed first in the mile (4:56.92). Katie DiCamillo took second place with a time of 5:01.35. In the 1,000 meters, Meghan Owen placed first in a time of 2:52.77.
