Providence Women's Tennis Defeats Bryant, 6-3

The Providence College women's tennis team posted a 6-3 victory over Bryant College, Thursday, October 4 at Bryant's Tennis Center.

Freshman Lindsey Christensen (Northboro, Mass.) and sophomore Eleana Stayer (Portland, Ore.) led the Friars as they won in both singles and doubles. Christensen was victorious at No. 3 singles and later teamed with Stayer for a doubles triumph at the No. 1 spot.

Senior Katie Lafayette (Norwich, Conn.) won at No. 1 singles while freshman Nicole Rodger(Lowell, Mass.) also won in singles and doubles.

Providence returns to action on Saturday, October 6 as it hosts Fairfield.
