Women's Tennis Drops Season Finale To Albany

    The Providence College women's tennis team fell to Albany, 4-3, in its season finale on Sunday, April 15 in Providence, R.I.  Maria Clara Bernardez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), Karen Ramirez (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and Caitlin Foley (Holden, Mass.) each earned singles victories for the Friars.

    Bernardez defeated Kristen Scott, 6-1, 6-0, at the No. 1 spot.  Ramirez earned a, 7-5, 6-1, win over Cheryl Kukkonen at the No. 3 singles position.  Foley handled Francine White a 6-1, 6-0 loss at No. 6 singles.
