Women's Tennis Faces Trouble at Harvard

Cambridge, Mass. - The Providence College Women's Tennis team traveled to Cambridge, Mass. today to take on Harvard University. The Friars were defeated 7-0 by one of their toughest opponents of the season in a match that was fought hard from start to finish.

Freshman Sera Satkowski played a competitive match in Singles no. 6 before eventually losing 7-5, 6-2. In Singles no. 1, junior Risa Takenaka made her opponent face as much difficulty as she could in the second set of a 6-0, 6-3 defeat.

The Friars return home to Centre Court Tennis Club tomorrow morning, Mar. 11, to host Marist University. The match begins at 10:45am in Riverside, R.I.
