Women's Tennis Defeats Lake Superior State, 7-0

The Providence College women's tennis team defeated Lake Superior State, 7-0, on Tuesday, March 5 in Orlando, Fla.

The Friars won all singles matches in straight sets led by senior Brooke Rubin who defeated Mary Blake, 6-0, 6-1. With the win, Rubin became PC's all-time leader in singles victories with 79. She broke the record, previously set last season, by Alison Carton.

The Friars improved to 6-5 overall and 2-3 in the spring season. PC closes completes its Spring Break schedule with a match against James Madison on Friday, March 8 in Orlando, Fla.
