Before Providence: Hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico where she was ranked in the 14-under and 18-under categories of the Puerto Rico Tennis Association/Caribbean Section of the USTA. She was the top ranked senior from Puerto Rico on tennisrecruiting.net. Ramirez is an exceptional athlete with a strong background in cross country, track & field and soccer. Her accomplishments led to being named the top athlete in her graduating class. She also is an active member of the National Honor Society, yearbook and community service groups. She is the daughter of Humberto Ramirez and Yolanda Berrios. She has one older sister who is enrolled at John Carrol University.
