Before Providence: A native of Holden, Massachusetts, Foley played No. 1 singles for three years at Notre Dame Academy of Worcester, Mass. In both her junior and senior years, she was elected team captain and MVP. The Worcester Telegram named Caitlin a Central Mass. All-Star her sophomore and junior years, when her team reached the state semi and quarterfinals. Foley accomplished a top- 50 ranking in New England and top-10 in Massachusetts. Academically, she was an honors student and served as a member of the student council. She is the daughter of Darlene and Brian Foley, and the sister of Ryan Foley, who graduated from Saint Anselm College.
