PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The men's and women's swimming and diving team split a meet with Stony Brook. The Providence women defeated Stony Brook, 133-110, while the PC men were defeated, 134-90 on Saturday, November 10 at PC's Taylor Natatorium.

The Providence women got wins from sophomore Bridget McKenna (Narragansett, R.I.), who won the 800 meter free in 9:48.87, sophomore Kathryn Donovan (Simi Valley, Calif.), who won the 200 meter free in 2:12.65, junior Kate Fuller (Staten Island, N.Y.), who won the 50 meter freestyle in 28.77, senior Lee Barnum (Hyde Park, N.Y.), who won the 200 meter IM in 2:34.26, senior Nicole Mancini (Fall River, Mass.), who won the 100 meter backstroke in 1:14.30 and senior Allison Buckley (Chelmsford, Mass.), who won the 400 meter free in 4:44.52.

Both the men's and women's teams return to action on Saturday, November 17 at Holy Cross.
