Providence Swimmers Take on Seton Hall and UNH
Both Squads Beat Pirates, Lose to Wildcats
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's and women's swim teams hosted
Seton Hall and UNH last weekend. The men's squad lost to UNH, 66-47 and to
Seton Hall, 75-36.
Leading the squad was junior Jed Michnowicz who picked up a first place finish
in the 400 Free with a time of 4:10.30 and a second place finish in the 200 Free
with a time of 1:58.81.
The women's squad defeated Seton Hall, 69-44 and lost to a strong UNH squad,
83-30. Earning first place honors were Karen Cardwell in the 800 Free
(9:36.17), freshman Lori Cosman in the 400 Free (4:37.87) and Shannon Najjar in
the 200 Fly finishing in 2:24.54.
