PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College womsn's swimming and diving team was defeated, 141-102, on Friday, November 15 in Providence, R.I. Kathryn Donovan led the Friars with two first place finishes.

Donovan won the 200 and 400 meter freestyle events. She claimed victory in the 200 with a time of 2:15.43, and finished first in the 400 in a time of 4:48.74.

Other Friars to earn first-place finishes in the meet were Bridget McKenna and Kate Fuller. McKenna won the 800 freestyle with a time of 9:54.11. Fuller won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:19.80.
