    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College softball team (6-26, 4-12) will travel to Omaha, Neb. to take on Creighton (26-23, 7-10), on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4. Saturday's doubleheader is set to start at 1:00 p.m., while Sunday's single game will begin at noon.

    Sophomore Kiki Baldassari (Denville, N.J.) leads Providence with 43 hits on the year and 11 stolen bases. Junior Kristie Dederick (Camarillo, Calif.) has 25 hits on the season. Freshman McKall Miller (Ashburn, Va.) leads the team with 16 RBI and seven home runs. Sophomore Danielle Deraney (Shrewsbury, Mass.) leads the team in batting average at .344.

    Freshman Taylor Huntly (Las Vegas, Nev.) has made 24 pitching appearances for 127.0 innings and has a 4.39 ERA. She has fanned 63 batters on the year. Sophomore Kiara Amos (Malden, Mass.) has recorded 56 strikeouts in 67.2 innings pitched.

    The Bluejays are led by Liz Dike who has 41 hits, 37 RBI and 34 runs scored. She has also contributed a team-best 15 home runs. Becca Changstrom leads the Creighton pitching staff with a 1.81 ERA in 186.0 innings pitched. She has put together a record of 15-12 and struck out 235 batters on the year. Alexis Cantu has also seen time on the mound with 64.2 innings pitched and a 3.14 ERA.
