Softball Squad Closes Out 1998 Season

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College softball squad finished the 1998 season with a 17-25 overall mark and a 4-12-1 BIG EAST tally. After a three-game win streak in mid-April, the Friars closed out their season losing five straight games.

    The last regular season game scheduled against the University of Hartford was cancelled due to a scheduling conflict by Hartford.
