PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College softball junior infielder Justine Stratton (Fresno, Calif.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, April 26. It marks the second consecutive week that Stratton has been named to the honor roll.

Stratton helped the Friars to a 4-2 record last week as she batted 7-for-20 (.350) with one home run, two doubles, four runs and 10 RBIs. She belted a grand slam to seal PC's 10-2 victory over Bryant on Tuesday, April 20 and recorded three hits and two RBIs in a BIG EAST doubleheader sweep against Connecticut on Wednesday, April 21. In the three-game weekend series at Rutgers, Stratton totaled two hits and four RBIs.

The Friars (18-24, 7-9 BIG EAST), who are in seventh place in the BIG EAST standings, will return to action on Wednesday, April 28 when they play a non-conference doubleheader at Boston University.
