PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College softball team, which was scheduled to play a doubleheader against Boston University this afternoon, on Monday, April 1st, had the contests cancelled due to poor field conditions. No makeup date has been scheduled.

The Friars (7-19 overall/1-3 BIG EAST) are scheduled to host Yale University on Wednesday, April 3 at 2:30 p.m. and Sacred Heart University on Thursday, April 4th at 3:00 p.m. PC travels to Rutgers University on Saturday, April 6 for a BIG EAST Conference doubleheader that begins at 12 noon. The Friars play at Villanova on Sunday, April 7 in a doubleheader that starts at 12 noon.
