    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College softball team will compete against Yale (3-9) on Wednesday, March 19. Game times are set for 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

    Junior Kristie Dederick (Camarillo, Calif.) leads the Providence with 13 hits. Sophomore Kiki Baldassari (Denville, N.J.) follows with 12 hits while freshman McKall Miller (Ashburn, Va.) has tallied 11 hits. Miller leads the team with 6 RBI and three home runs. Freshman Taylor Huntly (Las Vegas, Nev.) has made eight pitching appearances for 43.0 innings. She has fanned 22 batters on the year. Sophomore Kiara Amos (Malden, Mass.) has also made pitching appearances with 28 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts.

    Yale has a record of 3-9 on the year. Sarah Onorato leads the Bulldogs with 11 hits and four RBI. Tori Balta is the other Bulldog in double figures for hits with 10. Chelsey Dunham leads the pitching staff with 27.2 innings pitched with a 3.29 ERA and 13 strikeouts.

    After Wednesday's doubleheader the Friars travel to South Orange, N.J. to compete against Seton Hall on Saturday, March 22 for a doubleheader and Sunday, March 23 for a single game. The double header times are set for 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. First pitch for the single game is set for 12:00 p.m.
