Providence Falls To Boston College, 5-0

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. – The Providence College Softball team played a single game against the Boston College Eagles on Wednesday, May 3. The Friars lost the game 5-0 and fell to 21-24 (8-10) on the season.

Jackie Martin (Bridgeton, N.J.) and Nicole Lundstrom (Rehoboth, Mass.) each tallied one hit in the loss.

Miranda Trinidad (La Habra, Calif.) pitched 4.1 innings for the Friars. Trinidad allowed four earned runs and six hits in the loss and now has a 2-5 record on the season. Michaela Veneziali (Pine Bush, N.Y.) pitched 1.2 innings in relief allowing no hits and no runs.

Providence next plays a weekend series against Villanova on Saturday and Sunday May 6-7. The games will be Providence’s final regular season games of the season.
