Softball Complete Rebel Games Invitational with 7-6 Victory Over Holy Cross.

The Providence College softball team completed its play at the 2002 Rebel Games Invitational with a 7-6 victory over Holy Cross on Wednesday, March 6. The Friars completed the 2002 Rebel Games Invitational with a 7-6 victory over Holy Cross. Sophomore pitcher Cori Van Dusen (Riverside, Calif.) pitched a complete-game, allowing six hits and five earned runs while striking out nine batters. Van Dusen also went four-for-four at the plate, driving in one run. Karsnia was three-for-three from the plate for the Friars, scoring the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning on junior Sarah Morin's (Westerly, R.I.) RBI single.
