BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Played under head coach Tony Roybal at Chatfield Senior High School... Earned four varsity letters in softball and one varsity letter in swimming... She was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection her junior year and a Second-Team All-Conference selection her senior year... Pitched a perfect game her senior year of high school... A member of the honor roll for three years and was a three-time First-Team All-State Academic selection... Also a member of the National Arts Honor Society...
